Our internal matrix of fascia connects and envelopes all. Looking at fascial structure, meridians and posture I work with my clients to assist functional alignment of the body. My aim is not only to provide client’s with instant relief but to develop a mutual understanding of how they use and experience their body in order to help facilitate long lasting change.

Performing at your best isn’t limited to sport or competition. Addressing musculoskeletal and fascial imbalances can significantly improve your everyday wellbeing, allowing you to flow into your daily routines, better managing work and private relationships without physical discomfort or stress inhibiting your mood. The body as a bio-mechanical auto-regulation system holds scar tissue, physical and emotional trauma. Consultation, postural analysis and reflective practice exploring the bio-psycho-social factors allows us to understand and unlock dysfunctional patterns that can inhibit quality of life.

Conditions such as chronic migraines, tinnitus and hyperacusis can trigger the body’s nervous system response into a fight, flight-or freeze sympathetic state creating more tension and stress in the body, often heightening symptoms. Calming the body and mind with manual therapy can provides an opportunity to reduce the impact of these conditions.

Clinical massage is proven to help the body into a parasympathetic state, reducing stress hormone levels and increasing oxotocin release. This means that massage therapy is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, reduce stress and anxiety.

Pain in one part if the body may indicate or be caused by dysfunction elsewhere.

Deciphering the causative factors of pain is the key to providing long lasting, effective treatment.

Whether my client has overused muscles in high performance athletics or is suffering from prolonged periods of sitting, staring at screens, and a lack of movement, identifying and treating affected muscles, tendons, and fascia, can help alleviate pain. With a tailored approach to each client’s specific needs and goals, I aim to unfurl the roots of their discomfort and empower them to live their lives with greater comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.

Treatments utilise advanced techniques which invigorate stagnated and bound up fascia. This improves circulation, lymphatic flow and the flow of Qi (life force). Facilitating flow in the body creates optimises the conditions for the body’s innate ability to heal.
